Each team can expect to have 2 games per week. One game will be played on the weekend (likely early Saturday) and a second game on a weekday evening.
A final schedule will be posted two weeks before the start of the season.
All games are played at the Gorsebrook Park outdoor rink located on Lundys Lane in Halifax's South End. Lundys
Lane is located off Wellington Street between the IWK and Saint Mary’s University.
Teams will usually play two games per week. There may be one or two weeks when an extra make-up game is played.
The season will begin with one exhibition game. Teams will be in "DRAFT" form and this game will be used to evaluate players and balance the teams.
Each Division will have 4 teams and they will play a 3 round, round robin (9 games). This will be followed by a 2 game play-offs. Schedules may be adjusted depending on weather and facility availability.
Practice times can be staged if desired. This would be administered by team coaches. We have requested addition time during the week for practice time should your team be interested. This will be optional. School yards and tennis courts could also be utilized for this purpose.
